She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in neurophysiology, with a focus on neurosteroids, emotion and stress. Additionally, she seeks to understand the pathophysiology of mood disorders and investigate the mechanism of action of neurosteroids in these conditions. Her passion for nature and diversity inspires her research into its behavioural ethology. A strong believer in accessibility of science and knowledge to the public. Apart from her academic endeavours, she enjoys bird watching, singing, painting shells & pebbles, reading non-fictions, and watching independent films.
